. Each model tested was reevaluated for its ability to detect those drugs that affect whipworms adults. Out of the 32 hookworm standard actives, 19 showed activity against whipworms. Among all model tested E2L showed the highest number of overlapping actives (16 out of 19) with adult whipworms, compared to 8 and 6 in C. elegans L4 and E2A.
