The indices psys, pdia, ppulse, and pmean are systolic, diastolic, systolic-diastolic, and mean aortic blood pressure, respectively, and PSSR denotes peak systolic strain rate. Note that AIx′ and / are wave reflection indices that consider the ratio of backward and forward pressure wave amplitudes, while AIx considers the fraction of augmentation pressure and pulse pressure.
