The indices p_sys, p_dia, p_pulse, and p_mean are systolic, diastolic, systolic-diastolic, and mean aortic blood pressure, respectively, and PSSR denotes peak systolic strain rate. Note that AIx′ and ${\widehat{p}}_{\text{bw}}$/${\widehat{p}}_{\text{fw}}$ are wave reflection indices that consider the ratio of backward and forward pressure wave amplitudes, while AIx considers the fraction of augmentation pressure and pulse pressure.
