Figure 4. Differentiation of C2C12 cells was induced by the addition of DMEM with 2% horse serum and 1% penicillin and streptomycin every 2 days for over 10 days. The differentiation was observed as the fusion of the myoblasts and formation of multinucleated myotube cells. The cells gradually transformed into thicker and longer cells.
