Effect of CTN on LPS-induced expression of IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α in BV2 microglial cells. BV-2 microglial cells were pretreated with CTN at various concentrations for 1 h and subsequently co-treated with 1 μg/ml LPS for 6 h. Five or 10 μM CTN alone did not influence the expression of IL-1β (A), IL-6 (B), and TNF-α (C) in BV-2 microglial cells. LPS significantly increased the expression of these three genes, which was significantly attenuated by 5 or 10 μM CTN. Data were presented as mean ± SEM.
