Effects of berberine on QA‐induced striatal lesion area. Brain striatal lesion size was evaluated by TTC staining. QA injection caused brain infarct injury in both the striatum and cortex. Berberine (50 mg/kg) treatment decreased lesion area percentage. Go6983 infusion partially blocked the neuroprotective effect of berberine.
