Serum sensitivity of VSV-GP is time and dose dependent. (A) VSV-GP produced on Vero cells was incubated for different periods of time (5 to 60 min) at 37°C with GMEM (w/o), hiNHS, or NHS. (B) VSV-GP(Vero) was incubated for 45 min with different concentrations of NHS or hiNHS (10, 20, or 50%). Afterward, the virus was titrated in plaque assays using BHK-21 cells.
