Cadmium (Cd) pre-exposure enhanced chemokine regulated on activation, normal T cells expressed and secreted (RANTES), and keratinocyte cytokine (KC) production after respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. Chemokines were determined in lung lysates and bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid, as described in Materials and Methods, and analyzed for KC (A and C) and RANTES (B and D) quantification by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
