Biotic stress response transcripts are differentially expressed in high ascorbate line. (a) Transcripts related to defense hormone biosynthesis, biotic stress response transcription factors, and specialized metabolite biosynthesis were up‐regulated while some transcripts related to cell wall metabolism were down‐regulated in MIOX4 OE compared to WT.
