Representative immunofluorescence staining of GHSR-1α and the neuron marker NeuN in the brain at 48 h post HI. GHSR-1α was colocalized with NeuN in the sham, vehicle, and rh-Ghrelin treatment (0.04 μg/kg) group respectively. Compared with the sham group, there were lower expressions of GHSR-1α on neurons in vehicle and rh-Ghrelin treatment group. Red was for GHSR-1α, green was for NeuN, and blue was for DAPI.
