Performance of the encoder–decoder in all-or-none modulation using real low-density inputs. (A) Initial stimulus: membrane potentials recorded 20 min after the administration of paeonol. These results showed that the encoder–decoder could exactly encode stimulus input with low density in a complex cortical circuit with many interneurons.
