Parkin siRNA significantly impaired the effects of ATF4 on parkin expression and mitophagy activity. Compared with the AAV+MCAO group, parkin siRNA remarkably decreased parkin expression (A,C), however, it has no obvious influence on ATF4 expression (A,B). Parkin siRNA apparently increased the levels of TOM20 and COX4I1 compared to the AAV+MCAO group (DF). Error bars represent mean ± SD.
