DC vaccination and adenosine blockage could induce a tumor-specific T-cell response and increase efficacy of the vaccine. T cell or CAR T-cell immunotherapy in combination with CD73 inhibitor, or an A2 receptor antagonist could lead to tumor regression. An immune check point inhibitor, such as anti-PD-1, anti-CTLA-4, combined with adenosine inhibitors could tumor progression and metastasis.
