The larger light blue vertical box (22.72 to 24.86 mM) encloses the inhibition of 97–99% of the C. jejuni strains by dissociated butyric, propionic, and acetic acid, Δ = 2.14 mM. The magenta vertical box (35.11 to 36.36 mM) encloses the inhibition of 97–99% of the C. jejuni strains by dissociated l-lactic and propionic acid, Δ = 1.25 mM. Each pH data point is the mean and standard deviation of triplicate samples.
