Expression of a recombinant FIV full-length Pr50^Gag-His₆-tag fusion protein in Escherichia coli (E. coli) lysates. BL21(DE3) cells transformed with VP10 were grown overnight at 37 °C, and then induced with IPTG and further cultured for varying time points at 37 °C. Total bacterial cell lysates were prepared from uninduced and IPTG-induced cultures and analyzed by SDS-PAGE. Coomassie Brilliant Blue-stained SDS-PAGE confirms that full length Pr50^Gag-His₆-tag fusion protein is expressed efficiently from VP10.
