Sub-optimal expression of the recombinant FIV full-length Pr50^Gag-His₆-tag fusion protein in soluble fraction of Escherichia coli (E. coli). Bacterial cells transformed with VP10 were grown at 37 °C and induced with IPTG. This was followed by growing the cultures sub-optimally for varying time points at 28 °C in the presence of 1% glucose. (A) Coomassie Brilliant Blue-stained electrophoresed gel confirmed expression of a full length Pr50^Gag-His₆-tag fusion protein from VP10 in the soluble fraction.
