Wolbachia titers carried bodywide and in early oogenesis did not show any consistent response to host diet. However, Wolbachia titers from late oogenesis are markedly lower in yeast-enriched conditions than on un-enriched food. This is consistent with possible developmental regulation of Wolbachia invasion and/or replication in maternal germline cells
