MONaKA mRNA distribution in various mouse tissues. All tissues examined contain mRNA for the full-length (FL) version of the protein, as determined by RT-PCR. The short (S) version is also found in most tissues, with a low amount in spleen and none in skeletal muscle. FL product size, 439 bp; S product size, 450 bp. RT-PCR was performed three times in different animals with similar results.
