The expression level of TrkC mRNA did not differ between the control and schizophrenia groups (A), whereas the expression of GAD₆₇ mRNA (B) was significantly decreased in the schizophrenia group. In all 15 subject pairs, GAD₆₇ mRNA expression levels were decreased in the subjects with schizophrenia relative to the matched control subjects.
