The effect of NMDA infusion into the MEApd on the incidence of P/PSP. Three infusions of 0.27μg of NMDA (total dose, 0.8μg) and one infusion of 8.0μg of NMDA induced P/PSP in a significantly greater number of animals than did infusion of PBS. The three infusions induced a significantly higher percentage of P/PSP than did a single infusion of 0.8 μg.
