Figure 5.

In vivo effect of Colivelin on spatial working memory deficits caused by repetitive administration of toxic Aβ peptides. A, The treatment schedule of repetitive Aβ injection. One nanomole of Aβ25-35 or 300 pmol of Aβ1-42 was injected 10 times every other day for 3 weeks (wks) together with or without Colivelin injection once in every 6 d (10 pmol each for Aβ25-35; 100 pmol each for Aβ1-42). B, C, SA% of mice repetitively injected with or without Aβ25-35 together with or without 10 pmol of Colivelin (B) or ADNF (C) were compared. D, Colivelin does not increase SA% of mice. SA% of mice injected with 10 pmol of Colivelin was compared with SA% of mice injected with saline. E, SA% of mice repetitively injected with Aβ1-42 together with 100 pmol of Colivelin were compared. Data are shown in means ± SEM. Statistical analyses were performed by one-way ANOVA followed by Fisher's PLSD (*p < 0.05; **p < 0.01).
