Table shows best-fit parameters of Equations 6 and 7 to choice and reaction time data for both monkeys (“Combined”, as shown in Fig. 3) and for both monkeys separately. SEs of fit parameters are in parentheses. The scaling term, k, and the pulse effect, γ, are common to both psychometric and chronometric function fits; k is in units [% coh]−1; γ and δ are in units of percentage coherence. Note that δ appears only in the expression for the chronometric function. It allows for the possibility that the pulse effects on choices and RTs might differ, but it was not significantly different from 0 in all cases (likelihood ratio test, all p > 0.05).
