Effects of polyproline deletion on relocation of HIP1, SH3GL3, dynamin, and FIP2. MCF-7 cells were transfected with FH969-18 or FH969-46 with polyproline region intact (+) or removed (-). Cells were fixed and processed for immunohistochemisry 24 hr after transfection, as described in Materials and Methods. Cells were analyzed with a confocal microscope, and images were processed with Adobe Photoshop. After polyproline deletion, the shell region of htt bodies is absent, and colocalization of HIP1, SH3GL3, dynamin, and FIP2 with htt bodies is eliminated or substantially reduced.
