A, Neurospheres generated from the LGE of E12 Gsh2+/- and -/- littermates showed the same growth profile, but the -/- cultures had a somewhat lower rate of expansion compared with +/- cultures. B, The ability to form secondary spheres were only slightly compromised in the -/- cultures, and only at high densities. C, However, the -/- neurospheres were significantly (p < 0.05) smaller in size than the +/- neurospheres.
