Antidepressant imipramine (Im) induces an increase in synaptic GluR1 in vivo. Rats were treated with imipramine (10 mg/kg, twice daily, i.p.) for 4 weeks; hippocampal tissues were isolated, and synaptosome preparations were obtained by using a Ficoll gradient assay.
