Myosin colocalizes with the endogenous NF network and with newly expressed (GFP-tagged) NFs. The panels present images of a cell double-immunostained with SMI-31 and anti-myosin and a cell transfected with GFP-M and immunostained with anti-myosin. Merged images were generated as described in Materials and Methods. Select regions (1, 2) from each cell are presented at higher magnification. Note that myosin immunoreactivity colocalizes with both SMI-31 immunoreactivity and GFP-M.
