The results from experiment 3 as the mean difference between time spent exploring the objects in the novel and familiar object-place combinations, calculated as a proportion of the total time spent exploring both objects. On this measure, a value of zero reveals no difference in exploration of the two objects. Values higher than zero reveal greater exploration of the novel object-place combination.
