Astrocytes were treated in the absence or presence of 100nm V₁ agonist for 24 hr followed by inflammatory cytokine GEArray analysis. Densitometric quantification of V₁ agonist-induced cytokine gene expression was analyzed with Un-Scan-It gel image software and expressed as percentage of control gene expression.
