Infrequent, light/moderate and heavy drinkers are for current drinkers only. “Never drinker”: <12 drinks in a lifetime; “Former drinker”: ≥12 drinks in a lifetime but with 0 drink in the past year; “Current drinker”: ≥12 drinks in a lifetime and >0 drink in the past year. “Infrequent drinker”: 1–11 drinks in the past year; “Light drinkers”: ≤3 drinks per week in the past year. “Moderate drinkers”: males >3 drinks up to 14 drinks per week or females >3 drinks up to 7 drinks per week; and “Heavy drinkers”: males >14 drinks per week or females >7 drinks per week in the past year.
