Our contact measures. We also measured time since moving to the West (Time-in-West) for Eastern-raised Asian participants. Intercorrelations between contact measures (Tables S1517) were generally modest, as expected given that different measures tap different theoretical constructs (e.g., high quality contact vs mere exposure). Also note own- and other- contact are not merely opposites (see Tables S15S17; this is because social contact can also include third-party groups (e.g., Indian, Indigenous Australian, African).
