Experimental factors |
Spiked 0.3 mL of serum sample in a centrifuge tube with internal standards [PCB 209, tetrachloro-m-xylene (TCMX), isotopically labeled standards of PBDEs]. After three times of liquid-liquid extraction by extractant of n-hexane and dichloromethane (DCM) (1:1, v/v), evaporating the extracts to about 1 mL, and cleaned by a column filled with activated silica gel and Na2SO4. The elution was evaporated to dryness and redissolved in 50 μL of n-decane.

Experimental features |
Recruited 157 primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) cases and 217 healthy controls. Serum concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), organochlorine pesticides (OCPs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) were measured. |
