SAHA increases the acetylation level of histone H4 in the promoter regions of the GRP78, ATF4 and CHOP genes in HepG2 cells. HepG2 cells were mock-treated (0 µM SAHA) or treated with 6 µM SAHA for 36 h, and the interactions with the promoter regions of these genes were measured by chromatin immunoprecipitation and qPCR assay. The data represent the output/input ratios of acetylated histone H4-associated DNA targets. N=3. *P<0.05, **P<0.01.
