Mice administered water (A) showed histologically immature and quiescent cervix with plump and cuboidal epithelial cells in stratum germinativum. Oestradiol treated animals showed abundant luminal keratin characteristic of oestrus (B). CCRB treated mice 1 mg/kg (C), 10 mg/kg (D) and 100 mg/kg (E) showed the stratum germinativum, stratum granulosum, and stratum corneum with small numbers of luminal luminal keratin consistent with oestrus.
