New associated proteins zyxin, nesprin-1, and desmoplakin were detected similarly to those present in total cell lysates but not in IgG immunoprecipitation controls. (b,c) Proteins immunoprecipitated from HCT-116 cell lysates using zyxin and nesprin-1 antibodies were immunoblotted on membranes using anti-FAK antibodies.
