Cumulative distribution frequencies were not different between immersion-fixed GVs and perfusion-fixed GVs without pores (P = 0.33). There is a clear shift to the right toward larger GV volumes in perfusion-fixed GVs with pores compared to the other two distributions. In perfusion-fixed samples, I-pores were only observed in GVs larger than 41.72 μm3.
