The activation dynamics of Ras and the ERK MAPK pathway as they emerged from the Mech-ABM. This demonstrated the progression of the ultrasensitive response generated in the MAPK pathway, starting from Raf and ending with ERK. The ultrasensitive response is sharpest with ERK activation and less pronounced with Raf. These activation patters are identical to those reported by Ferrell et al.⁴².
