Aβ ELISA analysis (pg/μg) of hippocampal lysates from both APPsw and PDAPP mice reveals an elevated ratio of Aβ 40:42 in APPsw mice at all ages examined. PDAPP mice have a higher parenchymal (non-CAA) plaque load than APPsw mice. *p < 0.05 comparing APPsw with PDAPP mice at the same age (n ≥ 4 per group).
