Summary of current-clamp recordings in both spontaneously firing and quiescent VTA neurons loaded with biocytin during recordings and stained for TH afterwards. Each drug was bath applied independently for 5 min.

Effect criterion is paired t test of baseline to the last 4 min of drug application within each cell. p < 0.05.

Data include four tertiary cells and one secondary cell.
