Collectin-11/MASP-2 complex-induced C4 deposition. C. albicans were incubated with collectin-11 (10 µg/ml), MASP-2 (0.5 µg/ml) or a mixture of both proteins prior to addition of human purified C4 (10 µg/ml). C4 deposition after incubation for 15, 30 and 60 min was determined by flow cytometry as described in Materials and Methods. The mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) was used to assess C4 deposition. Results are representative of at least three independent experiments.
