Plasma insulin concentrations were measured before and 15, 30 and 60 minutes after intraperitoneal injection of glucose in combination with mGIP(3-30) or hGIP(3-30) alone and in combination with hGIP(1-42) (each peptide at 50 nmol/kg bw) in fasted mice. Plasma insulin 0 to 60-minute AUC values are shown. Values represent means ± standard error of mean (n = 5-6).
