Effects of BBR on differentiation of mouse primary preadipocytes. Mouse primary preadipocytes were left untreated or induced for differentiation, during which the cells were left untreated or treated with BBR as indicated. After treatment, cells were subjected to oil red O (ORO) staining and photographed under a light microscope (×400, scale bar = 100 μm). (A) Intracellular triglyceride (TG) was determined and normalized to protein concentrations. (B) The mRNA expression levels of adipogenic genes were analyzed by real time RT-PCR, which were normalized to β-actin (ACTB) and presented as fold of preadipocytes.
