Analysis of tprA regulation in different sugars using a LacZ reporter assay. The activity of ß-glactosidase under regulation of PtprA is expressed in nmol p-nitrophenol/min/mL (Miller Units). A strain containing promoterless pPP1 plasmid (pPP1-D39) was included as a control in the assay. Values are average of three independent experiments each with three replicates.
