The principles of TMT multiplex labelling. Tissue samples from ten patients are processed and enzymatically digested. The resultant peptides are individually labelled with the TMT 10-plex reagents and all 10 samples are mixed together with a ‘standard’ comprised of a pool of peptides from all patients.
