Exercise and lung function were tested in sedentary controls (a), Pseudomonas-only (PS; b), exercise-only (EX; c), and PS + EX groups (d). Maximum velocity (Max) was assessed before (Pre) and after (Post) exercise in all mice (n = 2 × 10/group). Animals were submitted to a physical test (beginning at 0.2 km/h, increasing 0.1 km/h every 2.5 min) until animals were exhausted.
