Effects of matrine on the apoptosis of FTC-133 cells. FTC-133 cells were treated with matrine at 0 (Ctrl), 80, 200 and 400 µM. The apoptotic rate was measured by flow cytometry with Annexin V-FITC/PI staining. Compared with that in the control group, the apoptotic rate was increased significantly in FTC-133 cells. All experiments were performed three times. Ctrl, control; PI, propidium iodide.
