Influence of receptor expression level on GABA potency (EC50). HEK 293 cells were transfected with 2 μg of pRKGB1 and various concentrations of pRKGB2 (from 0.05 to 2 μg), and the specific [125I]CGP64213 binding (expressed as the percentage of that measured on cells transfected with 2 μg of both pRKGB1 and pRKGB2) and GABA EC50 values were determined. Values obtained are indicated by open circles in this plot.
