Cross-excitation within the DRG. Held at −45 mV, this A0 neuron (Vr = −60 mV) fired occasional spike bursts. Cross-depolarization evoked by tetanic stimulation of the axons of neighboring neurons (dashed line) enhanced the amplitude of subthreshold oscillations and increased the prevalence of bursts.
