FMRFamide application to isolated RPeD1 produces an inhibitory response in both DM and CM. FMRFamide (10−6m) exogenously applied to RPeD1 (solid line), which had been isolated in cell culture for 18 hr, produced an inhibitory response in both DM (A) and CM (D). Bath perfusion with either HMC (B, E) or MLA (C, F) did not perturb the FMRFamide-induced (10−6m) effects in RPeD1 in either DM or CM. Solid lines indicate the duration of FMRFamide application.
