Inclusion criteria were age ≥18 years; premorbid right-hand dominance; unilateral motor stroke; contralateral arm weakness with Medical Research Council score <5/5 in a major muscle group. Exclusion criteria were traumatic brain injury; musculoskeletal, medical, or non-stroke neurological condition interfering with assessment of motor function; contracture at shoulder, elbow, or wrist; moderate dysmetria or truncal ataxia; visuospatial neglect; apraxia; global inattention; blindness.
