Overexpression of DuSTING activates the IFN-β promoter. DEF cells were transfected with an IFN-β promoter–luciferase reporter along with plasmid pcDNA-DuSTING-Flag (0.02, 0.05, 0.2, and 0.5 μg/well, respectively) or empty plasmid. Cells were lysed 24 h post-transfection, and luciferase activities were quantified by normalization with Renilla luciferase activity. The error bars are standard error of the mean (SEMs).
