A_2A-AR is increased at protein level in the heart of A_2A-TG. Whole hearts from WT and A_2A-TG were homogenized and subjected to electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose membranes, and incubated with an antibody against the A_2A-AR. The putative specific signals in A_2A-TG lanes were blocked when the antibodies were pre-incubated with a blocking peptide. At 67 kDa, unspecific bands were located, while the specific band for monomeric A_2A-AR is indicated by an arrow.
